OUR PARTNERS
Stronger Together for a Greener Built Environment
As an independent, non-profit organization established in 2009, Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCI) believes that transforming the built environment requires collective commitment and expertise from across the industry.
Through strategic partnerships with certification bodies, industry organizations, and international institutions, GBCI strengthens the delivery of green building certification, facilitates knowledge exchange, and expands opportunities for collaboration across the construction and property sectors.
These partnerships bring together complementary capabilities and shared ambitions, enabling GBCI to advance green building practices, support industry stakeholders, and contribute to a more sustainable built environment in Indonesia.
Certification Partners
The successful implementation of green building certification requires technical expertise, reliable assessment processes, and strong operational capabilities.
GBCI collaborates with appointed certification implementation partners to support the verification, validation, assessment, and market development of GREENSHIP and EDGE certification in Indonesia.
Through these collaborations, GBCI works to maintain the integrity of certification processes while making green building assessment more accessible to building owners, developers, and industry stakeholders across the country.
PT Sertifikasi Bangunan Hijau
Established in August 2015, PT Sertifikasi Bangunan Hijau (PT SBH) is an independent business entity appointed by GBCI to support the marketing and verification of green building certification in Indonesia.
Working alongside GBCI, PT SBH contributes to the implementation and wider reach of green building certification, helping connect building owners, developers, and industry stakeholders with the certification process.
Its role supports the continued adoption of GREENSHIP and the advancement of green building practices throughout Indonesia.

World Green Building Council (WorldGBC)
The World Green Building Council (WorldGBC) is a global network of Green Building Councils working to accelerate the transformation of the building and construction sector towards a sustainable built environment.
With a network of approximately 70 Green Building Councils worldwide, WorldGBC brings together businesses, organizations, and governments to advance sustainability across three strategic areas: climate action, health and wellbeing, and resources and circularity.
As a member of this global network, GBCI is connected to international knowledge, collaborative initiatives, and shared efforts to advance a net-zero carbon, healthy, equitable, and resilient built environment.
Through this relationship, GBCI contributes to the global green building movement while bringing relevant international perspectives and developments into the Indonesian context.
