Jakarta, 22 November 2024—Menara 2 BTN has achieved Platinum in GREENSHIP Existing Building certification, the highest rating for sustainable buildings based on the GREENSHIP rating system. This recognition highlights the building’s commitment to environmentally responsible practices, marking a significant achievement in Bank BTN’s sustainability effort. 



The building integrates energy-efficient systems, eco-friendly materials, and effective waste management practices, significantly reducing its carbon footprint. It highly prioritizes indoor health and comfort, providing its occupants a healthy, safe environment. The building’s strategic location near major transit hubs supports accessible transportation options and encourages commuting.


The ceremonial handover of the certification took place on 22 November 2024 at Menara 2 BTN. It was attended by key stakeholders, including Bank BTN’s Director of Asset Management, Ibu Elisabeth Novie Riswanti, Chairperson of GBC Indonesia, Bapak Ignesjz Kemalawarta, Executive Director of GBC Indonesia, Bapak M. Rizky Waskito Aribowo, Director of EcoBuild, Bapak Wiza Hidayat, and Director of Binayasa Putra Batara, Bapak Feriyanto. 


The event began with an opening speech by the MC, followed by a prayer. Ibu Novie delivered a speech emphasizing Bank BTN’s commitment to sustainability, focusing on the three pillars of sustainability: People, Planet, and Profit. Bapak Ignesjz provided an overview of Menara 2 BTN and its achievements, followed by a technical presentation on the building’s sustainable features by Bapak Wiza Hidayat. The event concluded with a networking lunch. 


This certification reflects Bank BTN's continued efforts to make sustainability a core part of its business. Beyond the building's green status, Bank BTN is committed to advancing green mortgage programs and offering GREENSHIP training to staff, building broader expertise in sustainable building practices.
